Tim McCauley joins the 6-4-3 staff

Marietta, Georgia

6-4-3 DP Athletics is excited to announce that Tim McCauley has recently joined 6-4-3's staff as the Manager of Instructional Services.  Tim comes to the 6-4-3 DP Baseball family from a long career in education, teaching for 13 years in South Carolina, Indiana, and Atlanta. A native of Atlanta, McCauley is an alumnus of the Westminster Schools. He received his BA in Latin from Furman University, and his MA in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. McCauley brings a lifelong love of both baseball and working with young people to his role as Manager of Instructional Services. He has covered baseball as a play-by-play man for three years, calling over 100 games in that span. Most recently, McCauley was the broadcaster for the Sunbelt Radio Network as well as the media relations manager for the 2017 Sunbelt Baseball League Champions, the Sunbelt Patriots. In addition to live broadcasts, McCauley has experience filming, producing, and editing baseball-related programming, including the production of a mini-documentary covering the 2016 MLB Draft, which McCauley attended with his former student Will Benson, who was selected 14th overall by the Cleveland Indians, to get a behind-the-scenes look at the Draft and all that it entails. McCauley lives in Smyrna with his wife Ashley and his sons, Patrick and Peyton.

6-4-3 is excited to add Tim to our staff.  Please look for Tim around Aviation Sports Complex in the coming weeks and introduce yourself!
