Aviation Sports Complex Facility Rules 

The following governs all fields, facilities, open space and amenities within the Aviation Sports Complex site boundaries.

  • Activities conducted by the users of facilities must be lawful and orderly, and not of a nature to incite others to disorder.
  • No person shall refuse to obey any lawful order of an authorized 6-4-3 DP Athletics employee, contractor or associate.
  • Persons shall comply with all officially posted signs.
  • Possession, consumption or under the influence of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs is prohibited.
  • Smoking anywhere in the park including the parking lots is prohibited.
  • Persons entering or remaining on park property when the park is closed shall be considered trespassing.
  • No person shall abuse, deface, damage or remove any property located in the park.
  • No person shall use abusive, threatening or profane language or behavior in the park.
  • The possession, use or discharge of fireworks, firecrackers, explosive or firearm of any kind by any person is prohibited.
  • All litter and garbage must be placed in the trash receptacles located in the park.
  • Parents, guardians or caregivers of children are required to supervise the activities of the children in their care while in the park.  Do not allow children to be unattended or to enter unauthorized or unsafe areas of the park.
  • Any dog entering the park must be leashed.  Dog owners are responsible for cleaning and disposing of dog feces in the large trash dumpster located in the left back of the upper parking lot.
  • All animals are prohibited from the athletic fields.
  • Patrons of the park shall park vehicles at their own risk.  Balls do leave the fields of play from all directions.
  • Patrons of the park should use caution when attending events, as balls can leave the fields of play from all directions.  6-4-3 DP Athletics assumes no liability from injury as a result of a patron being struck by a ball or any other equipment.
  • No person or entity shall promote, sell, rent or trade goods and services in the park without the expressed written consent of 6-4-3 DP Athletics.
  • Begging or soliciting park patrons for food, money or other things of value is prohibited.
  • All unattended property is presumed to be abandoned and may be removed or destroyed.
  • 6-4-3 DP Athletics shall exercise its full rights under the law to remedy situations whereby a person or persons violate any of the Aviation Sports Complex Facility Rules.  Remedies shall include, but not be limited to warnings, expulsion, arrest and prosecution.

 Athletic Fields / Facilities:

  • Scheduling priority and criteria will be determined by 6-4-3 DP Athletics.
  • Hitting or throwing balls into the fences is prohibited.
  • Play on the fields is prohibited during wet or inclement conditions.
  • Players must warm up on the fields and in all cages in turf or tennis shoes.  No cleats are allowed in the cages or on the field prior to the start of a game.
  • Climbing on buildings, backstops, dugouts, fences, pavilions or any other park structure is prohibited.
  • For patron safety, only coaches, players, game officials and authorized 6-4-3 DP Athletics personnel are permitted on the fields.
  • Field closures shall be at the discretion of 6-4-3 DP Athletics.
  • No signs, banners or pennants may be hung in the park without the written consent of 6-4-3 DP Athletics.
  • Persons shall comply with all officially posted signs.

Specific Indoor Training Facility Rules:

  • Watch for batted and thrown balls at all times
  • Do not stand close to the nets
  • All hitters must wear batting helmets in and around the cages
  • Do not swing bats outside of the cages
  • No throwing allowed outside of the cages
  • No smoking allowed inside or outside the building
  • No food allowed
  • No tobacco products or seeds allowed
  • No spitting allowed
  • No horseplay allowed
