The 6-4-3 Foundation - Increasing our impact in the community!

Marietta, Georgia: Written on behalf of the leadership of The 6-4-3 Foundation by David Carr

In 2017, The 6-4-3 Foundation intentionally joined the effort to end childhood cancer and, in doing so, created a partnership with the dedicated staff at the Rally Foundation. First, The 6-4-3 Foundation started a cancer research fund (Team Carson) with Rally over the summer in memory of Carson Rozsman. Later in August, The 6-4-3 Foundation launched its first loose change campaign within the 6-4-3 academy teams. In November, we collected the coins and started counting! I am pleased to report that the loose change campaign and the generosity of 6-4-3 families raised nearly $2,600 to be added to the Team Carson Cancer Research Fund.  Also in November, The 6-4-3 Foundation hosted the Brian McCann Rally Foundation Celebrity Softball Game at Aviation Sports Complex in Marietta. The event raised funds to combat childhood cancer and allowed fun and fellowship for the inspiring Rally Kids.

As we strive to connect with our community and support worthy causes, The 6-4-3 Foundation is grateful for the opportunities granted to us in partnership with the Rally Foundation. We also thank Ashley and Brian McCann for hosting a meaningful and special event at 6-4-3’s facility this past November 11. Most importantly, we are filled with gratitude from the strong support of our players and families (both past and present) that enables our charitable endeavors.

Thank you for pushing us forward and allowing us to increase our impact in the community!

And, of course, Happy New Year to you and your loved ones!
