Annual loose change drive underway to help end childhood brain cancer

Marietta, Georgia -

The 6-4-3 Foundation, the charitable arm of the 6-4-3 organization, is pleased to again host it's loose change collection campaign.  The coins collected during the 2020 campaign will be donated to the Rally Foundation along with an additional financial contribution from The 6-4-3 Foundation.  Specifically, the funds will be deposited into the research fund for brain cancers in memory of Rally Kid Carson Rozsman.

You can donate in three different ways:

1. Donors can drop off coins in the 6-4-3 office at any time.

2. 6-4-3 staff will be collecting coins from its team members during sizing days on November 7th and 8th.

3. Donate online today to The 6-4-3 Foundation's Coins for Carson fund by clicking the icon below to process your donation quickly, easily and securely through PayPal.  Every donation will make a positive difference regardless of size.

*Note: All contributions to the foundation are tax deductible.  The 6-4-3 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Georgia not-for-profit corporation.

Launched in 2017, the Team Carson Cancer Research Fund honors the life of 6-4-3's own Carson Rozsman.  Carson died on March 1, 2017, after a brave battle with inoperable brain cancer.  Although Carson is no longer with us, the 6-4-3 organization will not soon forget his passion for the game of baseball and the courage he displayed during his cancer fight.  In addition to the Rally research fund created by The 6-4-3 Foundation in Carson's memory, 6-4-3 DP Baseball created the Carson Rozsman Courage Award to both honor and remember Carson. The Carson Rozsman Courage Award is a special honor given at the annual 6-4-3 Awards Banquet to an individual that demonstrates great strength in the face of adversity.  This award is granted based on merit and not necessarily every year.

Childhood cancer is the number one disease killer of kids in the United States.  Every school day, 46 kids are diagnosed with cancer.  Kids get different kinds of cancers so different research is needed.  Rally funds the best, life-saving research all over the world.  92 cents of every dollar given supports that research. Rally’s mission is to empower volunteers across the country to raise awareness and funding for childhood cancer research so we can find better treatment options with fewer long-term side effects, and ultimately, a cure.

The 6-4-3 Foundation is a proud and supportive partner of Rally Foundation.
