Marietta, Georgia -

For the sixth year in a row to celebrate Mother's Day, the many teams of 6-4-3 DP Baseball joined The 6-4-3 Foundation to raise awareness for breast cancer.  The tradition remains simple - we honor mothers, bring awareness to an issue familiar to many, and raise money for cancer research by having players and parents alike sport pink jerseys, shirts, hats, and socks over this meaningful weekend.  One hundred percent of the proceeds generated through the sale of the Mother’s Day apparel will be donated by The 6-4-3 Foundation to It’s The Journey, Inc. in support of breast cancer care, prevention and research.  In 2015, the effort raised approximately $7,000!

A special thanks goes to the talented duo of DJ and Marla Huyck for once again spearheading and coordinating this special and meaningful 6-4-3 Mother’s Day awareness and fundraising campaign.  6-4-3 would also like to thank its many teams, players, coaches and parents who participated in this weekend's worthy awareness and fundraising drive.  Finally, 6-4-3 would like to thank a very generous corporate sponsor, Performance Builders Inc. (Commercial Contractors - www.performancebldrs.com), for their wonderful gift.

For those individuals interested in joining 6-4-3’s pledge to take a swing at breast cancer, please visit www.2daywalk.org to learn more about breast cancer research and cast your financial support.
