This summer...6-4-3 SERVES!

Marietta, Georgia

On June 3rd, fourteen (14) players representing The 6-4-3 Foundation and 6-4-3 DP Baseball’s 8U Cougars, 11U Jaguars, 11U Tigers & 14U Jaguars teams worked together to serve the Save it Forward initiative within MUST Ministries.  For two hours, the players organized donations and packed bins full of food and other items for families in need across Cobb County. Their hard work will benefit about (50) families through the Save it Forward initiative.

This past winter the charitable arm of the 6-4-3 organization, The 6-4-3 Foundation, began organizing service projects for 6-4-3 academy student-athletes and families like the one mentioned above.  This 6-4-3 group (pictured above right and below) was the second this year from 6-4-3 to volunteer with Save it Forward.  "As our student-athletes continue to improve on the field, 6-4-3 also wants to create opportunities for them to learn life lessons off the field and to do good deeds in the community alongside their teammates.  Evolving our organization in this direction is not only the right thing to do, but also an intentional way to create a positive culture of volunteerism across all age groups of the baseball academy," commented David Carr, spokesperson for 6-4-3 and board member of the foundation.
