On January 17, the staff of 6-4-3 DP Baseball represented The 6-4-3 Foundation to take a swing at hunger in Cobb County.  The 6-4-3 volunteers supported Must Ministries' Save It Forward initiative.  Save it Forward’s mission is to eliminate hunger for at-risk students in local schools so that they may have a greater opportunity to succeed in school and life.  Save it Forward partners with schools in the local area to provide food and toiletries to children and families in need.  For two hours on Thursday, the 6-4-3 staff members sorted groceries and stocked/re-stocked the warehouse space to help advance the good work of the Save it Forward initiative.

Jay Andrews, 6-4-3 Foundation board member and 6-4-3 staffer, commented on the service opportunity, "Today was a great day of service for our administrative team with the Save It Forward initiative.  It is important for The 6-4-3 Foundation to connect 6-4-3 players with opportunities to serve within our community, but as leaders we must also.  Working side-by-side with colleagues in an effort to help others in our community was a very positive experience.  It was a privilege for our 6-4-3 group to serve with the Save it Forward initiative today."

MISSION STATEMENT: To enhance the lives of children and families through sports.

The 6-4-3 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Georgia not-for-profit corporation.
