6-4-3's Dominick Blaylock named to 2015 CBS MaxPreps Freshman All-American Football Team

Marietta, Georgia

Most folks in the Atlanta area, especially Walton High School football fans, have known for years that Dominick Blaylock is special on the football field.  Well, just about all prep football fans now know of Dominick’s ability, talent and accomplishments.  Over the holidays, Dominick was named to the 2015 CBS MaxPreps Freshman All-American Team.  The 6-4-3 DP Baseball staff congratulates Dominick (just "Dom" as we know him) on this tremendous honor earned by his outstanding production as a wide receiver and return specialist at Walton this past football season.

What may not be fully known about Dom is that he is a two-sport star.  The staff here at 6-4-3 has had the privilege of coaching Dom inside our baseball academy since he was 10 years old.  While many in the area have long since talked about his football talents, we have watched his baseball skills and talents blossom over the years.  Blessed with elite athleticism and the desire to compete at the highest level, Dom is indeed a legitimate baseball prospect in addition to shining on the gridiron.  Dom is a shortstop and outfielder who uses his plus range and excellent footspeed to be a defensive playmaker.  On offense, Dom is a switch hitter with plus power who is also a constant threat on the basepaths.  In short, Dom is special on the baseball diamond.  6-4-3 is honored to call Dom one of our own academy players and we look forward to his continued development as a member of the 6-4-3 DP Cougars (15U) squad in 2016.

Whether on the diamond or on the gridiron, there is no doubt that Dominick Blaylock has a bright future full of many potential successes and accomplishments.
