COACHES COMMENTS:
Davis is an incredibly bright young man and player. He is an athletic 1B who has exceptional footwork and instincts; his leadership style is like having a General play at 1B. On the mound, he has a quick arm action with deceptive speed. As a left-handed pitcher, he has solid arm side run on his fastball, above average command for his breaking ball, and a filthy changeup. At the plate, he rarely strikes out and has a solid middle-away approach to hitting. He is always thinking one pitch ahead, and he leads by example. He does not accept complacency from himself or anyone else.
