COACHES COMMENTS:
Dawson can be adequately described as a “Bulldog.” In the outfield, he is a ball-hawking speedster that can play anywhere. Dawson has a quick arm action and throws with great accuracy. At the plate, he has a powerful compact swing that is built for competing at the top of the order. He does a great job of lengthening at-bats and getting on base. From the mound, Dawson is the kind of pitcher that always wants the ball. He does a very good job locating his fastball and has a very good changeup that he is comfortable throwing in any count.
