COACHES COMMENTS:

Steven is an exceptional young athlete with a very high level baseball mind.  Steven is primarily a shortstop who can play anywhere on the field. He is also a very good right-handed pitcher.  Defensively, Steven has above average range and very strong accurate throwing arm.  He has a one-step release on routine plays and spins the ball very well.  He has played plenty of second base in is life and is very comfortable on that side of the bag.  He has also played a lot of third base and does not skip a beat on the corner.  In a pinch, Steven can play centerfield.  He has very good speed and tracks flyballs well.  On the mound, Steven has above average command of his fastball and throws it to both sides of the plate with confidence.  He throws a short, late breaking curveball that is tough to pick up and very tough to square up.  He has a very good feel for his change and can throw it in any count.  At the plate, Steven has very good vision and creates a lot of leverage.  He creates power to all fields and has very good bat control.  He is a typical 2-hole hitter with his speed and bat control.  Steven is also a very good bunter and base stealer.  He is never overmatched and is always a threat. As Steven continues to physically mature, he will be a top prospect and have options to play the game at a top program. 

Steven has committed to play college baseball at the University of Georgia
