6-4-3 DP Baseball's 16U Cougars finish runner-up in 2015 16U Perfect Game WWBA National Championship

Emerson, GA -

Ryan Sterling’s 16U Cougars are the PG 16U WWBA National Championship Tournament Runner-Ups.  The Cougars played great baseball all through elimination bracket play, winning all three of their games on Thursday.  They advanced to the semifinals on Friday morning where they won, placing them in the championship.  The 16U 6-4-3 DP Cougars faced the Tri-State Arsenal Showcase team at 10:15am on Friday, losing in a close one-run game that stretched 11 innings.

Also, on Thursday night Rick Mang’s 16U Jaguars’ winning streak came to an end.  After excellent play that carried them into the Elite 8, the Jaguars could not break through to the semifinals.

Congrats to these two outstanding teams for excellent play throughout the tournament and representing the 6-4-3 name well in the Elite 8, Semifinals, and Championship Game of the prestigious and most challenging 16U Perfect Game WWBA National Championship Tournament.
