COACHES COMMENTS:
Jake is an exciting prospect with tremendous upside. He is a big time left handed pitcher from Walton HS, whose frame will have scouts and recruiters watching closely. On the mound, Jake is a deceptive pitcher that has plus command of all three pitches. He hides the ball well and has some late life to his fastball. He also has a breaking ball with sharp, two-plane break, and his change-up is a true swing and miss pitch. Jake has a long and lean frame that projects to add strength and velocity, and he is a good athlete on the mound. With continued growth and development, Jake will catch the eye of many college recruiters and scouts over the next year.
Jake has verbally committed to play college baseball at the University of Virginia.
