COACHES COMMENTS:
Zach is a 3B/RHP out of North Paulding HS that is a legitimate two-way player. In the infield, Zach utilizes good feet, savvy instincts, and a strong arm that allows him to be a game-changer at 3B. He has solid range and creates good hops. At the plate, Zach has good leverage and does a great job of covering the zone. When he gets extended, he can backspin the ball into the gaps and competes well against high level pitching. On the mound, Zach has frontline stuff with a good feel for pitching. His fastball is heavy with good sink and he can roll through line-ups with this pitch alone. He backs that up with a good breaking ball that is sharp with good tilt, and a change-up with sinking action that can be thrown in any count. Zach is athletic and does a good job of repeating his delivery. As he continues to grow and get stronger, Zach projects to be a high level prospect that college scouts will follow closely.
