COACHES COMMENTS:
Peyton is a very talented and headsy baseball player who brings a lot to any team on the mound. As a left handed pitcher, he throws a heavy fastball and compliments it with a plus changeup. Peyton has the ability to shut down any offense with just these two pitches. He does an outstanding job of commanding both sides of the plate with his fastball and keeping hitters off balance with his changeup. Peyton has also developed a slider that he primarily uses as an out pitch against left handed hitters. Defensively, Peyton is an above average first baseman. He has exceptional hands works the bag extremely well. At the plate, Peyton does a great job in situations and getting jobs done at the plate.. He battles and does a good job of competing every pitch. As Peyton continues to mature and get stronger, he will have a chance to pitch at the college level.
