Marietta, Georgia –
Trademark 6-4-3 DP Baseball defense and pitching were the keys to a 3-0 Sunday record and a silver bracket title for the 16U Jaguars squad this past weekend. With a team ERA under 2.00 for five games of the tournament and only two errors in 34 innings, the Jaguars used eleven different pitchers to limit the opposition. As a staff, the Jaguars limited opposing hitters to an average of only four hits per game while striking out 29.
The Jaguars even invited an old friend “Willie” and had him move two steps to the left in center field to secure the last out of the quarter-final game.
Congratulations to the 16U Jaguars players and coaches for a fine tournament performance.
