COACHES COMMENTS:

James is a very talented young man with a ton of potential on the field.  James is a catcher with a really big arm.  At the plate, James gets a lot out of his swing.  He has power potential and does not swing and miss often.  As James continues to fill into his body, he will become a middle of the lineup guy wherever he ends up.  Behind the plate, James receives extremely well, blocks well and throws well above average.  James has a very good arm and he knows how to use it.  He is patient with it and is always a threat to get an extra out.  On the mound, James has an extreme amount of upside.  His Fastball is very lively and can overpower any hitter.  He throws a really good CH that makes his FB that much better.  He also throws a very effective breaking ball that keeps hitters honest.  He will play at the next level and will help out a top program.

James has committed to play college baseball at the University of Georgia.
