COACHES COMMENTS:

Zach is a very strong athlete with a wealth of knowledge for the game.  He is a true student of the game and is growing into one of the top players in this age group.  Zach is a first baseman, an outfielder, a left-handed pitcher, and a strong left handed hitter.  At first base, Zach works the bag as well as anybody.  He times his stretch well and seems to make the position look easy.  He has very good range and is a weapon defensively at first base.  In the outfield, Zach has the speed to play all 3 spots and his awareness is above average.  He positions himself well and has a very strong accurate arm.  On the mound, Zach throws 3 pitches for strikes.  He commands a fastball to both sides of the plate and has an exceptional feel for his change.  He spins a very good breaking ball with good tilt.  At the plate, Zach has a very high level approach.  He is never overmatched and always a tough out.  He has the ability to drive all fields and knows how to work a count.  Zach gives his team options both offensively and defensively. As Zach continues to grow, he will be a prospect that pro scouts will follow throughout high school career and at the College of Charleston.

Zach has committed to play baseball at the College of Charleston.
