COACHES COMMENTS:
Cameron is a very talented young man out of Walton High School with solid baseball ability. Cameron is a RHP/INF in the 2018 class. On the mound, Cameron can be overpowering even with his smaller frame. His fastball has a second gear, and with low-to-mid 80’s velocity, it plays above that. His breaking ball is sharp with slider tilt, and his change-up is a devastating pitch. At the plate, Cameron has quick hands that battles every at bat. He is a very good situational hitter that will use the whole field to move runners and help his team score. Defensively, Cameron covers a lot of ground and has confidence in his hands. His arm shows well at 3B and his range is good enough to play the middle. As Cameron continues to get stronger, he will have opportunities to play the game at a high level.
Cameron has committed to play college baseball at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
