COACHES COMMENTS:
Carson is a C/3B/1B out of GAC who also switch hits. One of the most talented hitters in his age group, Carson can change the score of the game quickly from either side of the plate. He is an advanced hitter that covers the zone and has power to all fields. He can catch up to any fastball, and does a great job of handling off-speed pitches. Behind the plate, Carson has a strong throwing arm and does a good job of handling his pitchers. He gives a low target and his agility allows him to block tough pitches out of the zone. He also plays 3B and 1B where he posseses good feet, solid range, and an above average arm. Carson is a tireless worker who shows up to the field to get better. He will be a key piece for the Richmond Spiders in the next few years.
