COACHES COMMENTS:

Drew is an exceptional young man from Milton High School with very high level baseball abilities. He is primarily a catcher, who can literally play every position on the diamond as well.  At the plate, Drew has extremely quick hands and is never overmatched.  He uses all fields well, does not get cheated and is a great two strike hitter.  He can drive gaps and is great situationally.  On the bases, he is always a threat to take an extra base as his instincts are off the charts.  Behind the plate, Drew has great footwork and his catch/release is professional level. He blocks well and he quietly expands the strike zone with his receiving. He also instills confidence in his pitchers and has a great feel in calling his own game. In the OF, Drew gets great jumps and tracks the ball very well.  He knows how to position himself and always takes good angles.  In the INF, Drew can play SS and all the other spots.  He has great range, very soft hands and a very accurate arm. Drew has amazing instincts on the field, and is an amazing teammate and person. He will make any college program he attends that much better, both on and off the field.

Drew has verbally committed to play college baseball with the University of Virginia.
