COACHES COMMENTS:

Matt is a SS/3B out of John’s Creek, whose frame and build shout projection. Armed with a long and lean body, Matt does a good job covering ground at the SS position. He has smooth actions and an easy arm action. If he continues to grow and gets bigger, he can also be huge threat at 3B. At the plate, Matt has power potential and is learning what kind of damage his swing can do to opposing pitches, and his confidence is growing. He can create good leverage and extension, and covers the zone very well. Matt is a fantastic teammate and worker, and will draw the attention of many scouts/recruiters in the future.

Matthew Gravely has committed to play college baseball at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina.
