Marietta, Georgia

With the help of many families inside the 6-4-3 DP Baseball organization, Ben Bernstein, junior at Pace Academy and member of the 6-4-3 DP Cougars (17U) team, collected quite the haul of baseball equipment and gear for The Miracle League recently.  Over November 12 and 13 during the 6-4-3 uniform sizing days, Bernstein coordinated the collection of 5 full catcher’s gear sets, 16 gloves, 19 equipment bags, 42 pairs of pants, 56 pairs of cleats/turf shoes, 66 bats and 71 batting helmets.

The Miracle League provides an opportunity for children with disabilities to enjoy the experience of playing baseball. This league is a great place for children to go out and have fun. For more information about The Miracle League, please visit the website.

Ben wanted children in The Miracle League to have the best baseball experience possible.  Well, Ben...congratulations on collecting a wide variety of gear to help make that goal a reality!  Strong work, young man!
