COACHES COMMENTS:
Luke is a OF/LHP/1B and is one of the smartest baseball players 643 has to offer. Luke never takes a rep for granted. Offensively, he knows his game better than anyone, and sprays line drives all over the field. He has started to develop some gap power, and is not overmatched against high level pitching. Defensively, Luke can play all OF spots and reads the ball off the bat as good as anyone. His routes and angles are efficient, and his throws are always on line and accurate. On the mound, Luke has pinpoint command of his fastball and changeup. His fastball in/change up away combination makes even the best hitters look silly. Luke will be a fun one for recruiters to watch and will be a great addition to a strong college program.
