COACHES COMMENTS:

Jackson is a C/RHP that can also play corner infield. Jackson can help his team in many ways but is primarily a catcher. Behind the dish, he has a low target and strong hands.  He moves well and has a strong arm, giving him the ability to shut down a running game. In the infield, Jackson can play MIF with his good range and hands and has the arm to play 3B. On the mound, Jackson pumps strikes with a heavy fastball and backs that up with solid secondary stuff. At the plate, Jackson is a strong hitter than has gap power and seems to be at his best in clutch situations. He has good speed that allows him to take extra bases. Jackson is very competitive and mentally strong, and this will allow him to play this game at the next level in the near future.

Jackson has committed to play baseball at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama.
