COACHES COMMENTS:
Ty is a strong MIF/OF/RHP that is also a presence in the top of the lineup. In the infield, Ty shows plus range and is known to make a tough play look routine. He has soft hands and has very good arm strength across the diamond. At the plate, Ty has plus power and very quick hands. He has the ability to change the game with one swing and has a good approach with two strikes making him a tough out even when he gets down in the count. On the mound, Ty has plus velocity and a devastating slider. He gets ahead of hitters and uses his slider as his out pitch. As Ty continues to improve on the small parts of the game, he will mature into a big prospect that college scouts will certainly follow.
Ty has committed to play college baseball at LSU.
