COACHES COMMENTS:

James is a strong, hard working player who gives teams a lot of options defensively. In the infield, James has the ability to play a very strong corner infield position. He has soft hands and continues to get better at working through the baseball. James has good arm strength from the left side of the infield and works extremely hard every day. In the outfield, James has great arm accuracy and strength and takes good angles. On the mound, James is a tall, lanky player that has an arm that really works. He goes after hitters and commands both sides of the plate. James has a sharp breaking ball with late action that he uses in all counts. James also has a changeup that has late action and can drop off the table. At the plate, James is a switch hitter that is strong and comfortable from both sides. He has plus hands and competes each at bat as if it is his last at bat, especially with two strikes. As James continues to grow in his body, he wil play this game at a very high level.

James has committed to play baseball with the University of Kentucky.
