COACHES COMMENTS:
Jackson is a prototypical left handed hitting catcher. For years, “Moose” has shown a great ability to drive the ball, usually a strong lower half and quick hands to use his power. His defensive game has improved exponentially, as he’s improved his agility and can register pop times in the 1.9’s-2.0’s. His arm is solid and accurate and he shows a great set up and is athletic behind the plate. Jackson has soft hands and commands a pitching staff. He will be a great addition to Young Harris athletically and academically.
Jackson has committed to play college baseball at Young Harris College.
