COACHES COMMENTS:
David Paul is a MIF/RHP out of Harrison HS who combines good skills with upside in his game. He has a good baseball IQ and takes pride in mastering the fundamentals. David is a SS primarily, who is more than capable of handling 2B, 3B and 1B as well. He has good footwork, a clean exchange, and strong throwing arm. His range allows him to take away base hits, and he anticipates the baseball. At the plate, David has a solid line-drive stroke which has power now that he has filled out. On the mound, David is a quality starter or reliever, who pounds the strike zone with three pitches. His fastball has good arm side run, and his breaking ball and change-up keep hitters off balance. David is a quality teammate and comes to get better every day, and will have an opportunity to play this game at the next level.
David Paul has committed to play college baseball at Lincoln Memorial University.
