COACHES COMMENTS:

Jake is a great young man and an exceptional teammate.  McLinskey is a right-handed pitcher.  We like Jake out of the pen because of how he handles himself in tough situations.  McLinskey is very simple, he throws one pitch at a time and is very efficient.  He throws a Knuckleball and it is very affective.  He commands it very well and knows what he is doing with it.  He throws a very heavy fastball to both sides of the plate with confidence that is tough to square up.  His breaking ball is late and tight.  McLinskey knows how to get people out and is comfortable in any situation.  He will be a great addition to a top program.

Jake has committed to play college baseball at West Georgia Technical College.
