Blake has a tall and lean frame with huge potential. Blake is a right-handed pitcher and first basemen. On the mound, Blake has a lot of upside. He has a long frame and good body control. He has a very easy arm action that creates good angle on his fastball and makes it tough to pick up as a hitter. He spins a breaking ball very well and can use it in all counts. He also has a good feel for his changeup. As Blake continues to fill out, he will be a very exciting young arm. Defensively, Blake has decent feet and has soft hands. At first base, he is a very good target and works the bag well. At the plate, Blake creates good backspin and has serious power potential. As Blake continues to mature, he will have the opportunity to be a part of a top program.
Blake has committed to play college baseball at Florence-Darlington Technical College.
