COACHES COMMENTS:
Alex is a 2017 OF/C out of Decatur HS. A special athlete, Alex has a compact frame that allows his strength to show up in games. He is a switch-hitter, and has good pop from both sides of the plate. Alex is a gifted runner as well, which allows him to close gaps in the outfield and take extra bases on offense. He can be a top of the order sparkplug, but has the pop to be a middle of the order type of hitter. He can produce runs offensively and prevent runs from all three OF positions effectively. Alex also has experience behind the dish, which will help out any program who is looking for versatile player. Alex can be an impact player at many programs, and will be fun to watch over the next year.
Alexander has committed to play college baseball at East Georgia State College.
