COACHES COMMENTS:

Jake is a very smart young man with a very high baseball IQ.  Jake plays all infield spots and can also play both corner OF spots.  In the infield, Jake takes very good angles and gets to a lot of balls.  He has soft hands and the ability to catch and release very efficiently.  Jake is comfortable on either side of the bag on double plays and has the footwork down.  On the corner, Jake plays the game low and creates good hops.  He has a very quick release and spins the ball well. In the OF, Jake takes good angles gets rid of the ball very quickly. He knows where to be and where the ball needs to go.  At the plate, Jake hits from both sides.  Jake has a very good approach and uses the whole field well from both sides.  He gives his team options at the plate and is very good situationally.  He has confidence from both sides of the plate and is always a tough out.  As Jake continues to get stronger, he will have opportunities to play this game for a top college program.

Jake has committed to play college baseball at Georgia College.
