COACHES COMMENTS:
Mason is left handed hitting catcher with a great understanding of the catching position. He presents a great target, blocks baseballs consistently, and shows a solid catch and release behind the plate. His arm is solid, and plays up with good quickness behind the plate. Mason has a solid ability to expand the strike zone in a quiet manner, and is a true catch and throw guy. Hitting, Mason shows a smooth level swing and the ability to barrel up baseballs. He has the potential to develop solid gap power and will handle high level pitching staffs as he continues to develop.
Mason has committed to play college baseball with Trevecca Nazarene University.
