COACHES COMMENTS:

Skylar is a very strong young man with high level baseball ability.  He is a solid 3B and a right-handed pitcher who can also play corner outfield.  On the mound, Skylar has electric stuff and a very strong mound presence.  He throws a heavy fastball from a 3 quarter arm slot and is very tough to square up.  He throws a very affective change with late sink and a good difference in velocity.  Skylar’s breaking ball is a late breaking slider.  It is a swing and miss pitch, and he can throw it in all counts.   At the plate, Skylar has above average power and creates a ton of backspin.  He is a difference maker in any lineup.  He uses all fields well and is very good situationally. At third base, Skylar covers a lot ground and can play the game low.  He has soft hands and a very strong throwing arm.  In the outfield, Skylar tracks it well, takes good angles, and is a threat to baserunners attempting to take the extra base. Skylar is a competitor and will be a strong addition to a colege program.

Skylar has committed to play college baseball with Georgia Highlands College.
