My name is Drew Waters. I am a senior at Etowah High School and am finishing up my prep career with 6-4-3 DP Baseball. For my high school senior project, I am organizing a home run derby event for Carson Rozsman, a 9-year-old player who is a member of the 6-4-3 academy along with me. My academy coach, Danny Pralgo, told me Carson’s story earlier this year and now I am in a position to help him. As many of you know, Carson was diagnosed with an inoperable, malignant, brain tumor over the summer. I am organizing this home run derby to raise money for Carson and his family as they courageously fight cancer. Please join me on November 7 for a fun night of long balls, t-shirt sales, raffles, silent auction items and more…to help a special ballplayer.
The Crushin’ for Carson! home run derby will be a unique, community event open to participants of all ages. Proceeds from the raffles will be donated to the Atlanta-based Rally Foundation in the form of a gift honoring Carson. All other proceeds from the evening will be directed to Carson and his family. Participating in Crushin’ for Carson! will be 6-4-3 coaches, top pro prospects from the Atlanta area, former Major League sluggers (hopefully), current baseball professionals and YOU!

5:30pm – Home Run Derby Registration* (9-18U + Adult divisions)
*Spots limited to first 105 participants
6:00pm – Preliminary derby rounds begin (all ages/all fields)
6:00pm - 50/50 Raffle begins / Silent Auction begins
7:45pm – Semifinal derby round begins on Field #1
8:45pm – Final derby round begins on Field #1
Cost: please bring CASH payment
$10 – Event Admission (Adults & Children)
$10 – Additional fee for entry into the Home Run Derby (prelims)
