COACHES COMMENTS:
Ben is a very smart young man out of Grady HS with a high IQ for the game of baseball. Ben is a switch hitting catcher who can also play 1B. Behind the plate, Ben has very good technique and he knows what his job is behind the plate. He receives the ball well and works very hard at it. He throws to bags efficiently and blocks very well. At the plate, Ben has a sound swing from both sides that projects. Ben has good hands and possesses gap power from both sides. Ben's long, lanky, athletic frame plays well at 1B and gives coaches another option to keep his bat in the lineup. Ben is opening up a lot of college coaches eyes and will be a good fit for a strong college program.
Ben has committed to play baseball with Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia.
