COACHES COMMENTS:
Ben is a very hard nosed baseball player out of Kell H.S. that comes to the ball field on a mission everyday. He is primarily a catcher that can also play corner INF. Behind the plate, Ben receives the ball very well. He handles all pitchers effortlessly and pitchers like to throw to him. He blocks everything and throws to all bases very well. He is never a question in writing a lineup. He also plays some INF and has the right mentality for corners. At the plate, Ben uses the whole field well and has gap to gap power. As Ben continues to get stronger, he will have the opportunity to make an early impact in college.
Ben has committed to play college baseball at the University of South Carolina Upstate.
