COACHES COMMENTS:
Cohen is a C/RHP/IF out of Cartersville High School who is a very advanced baseball player. He has a high baseball IQ, and his skill set is very good. Behind the dish, Cohen knows how to work his pitchers and does a good job of handling the baseball. He blocks well and has a strong arm that is enhanced by good footwork and a clean transfer. In the infield, Cohen is solid up the middle and has good hands and decent range. On the mound, Cohen is as consistent of a pitcher as you will get who commands three pitches. He has a good fastball with sink, and backs that up with a split-change that is a true swing and miss pitch. At the plate, Cohen is a LHH that uses the whole field and has a high level approach. He has room to add power, and Cohen will hit at high levels because of a consistent swing and sound approach. Cohen is a blue-collar type worker who will have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
Cohen has committed to play college baseball at Lee University in Cleveland, TN.
