COACHES COMMENTS:
Tyler is a 2019 hard-nosed, old school player that is exciting to watch on the mound and in the outfield. He played a big part in leading the Allatoona Bucs to a runner-up finish in 2018. He is a great corner outfielder with good wheels and a strong accurate arm. On the mound, he has a bulldog mentality and is always attacking the zone with a mid 80's fastball that he can locate to both sides of the plate. He also has a 12/6 breaking ball that he uses as a swing and miss pitch when he gets ahead in counts. He has a good feel for his changeup and is comfortable throwing it in any count. At the plate, he is a tough out with gap to gap power with a good idea and solid approach.
Tyler has committed to play college baseball at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama.
