Dylan Kelly, former 6-4-3 DP Baseball standout student-athlete (Class of 2010), was signed in late May by the Arizona Diamondbacks. After graduating from the University of Missouri- where he lead the team in batting average (.330), doubles (13), RBIs (27), and hits (59) his senior year, Dylan joined the Normal CornBelters of the Frontier League. He is the second CornBelters player this year to have his contract purchased by an MLB organization. In his 11 games so far this season with the CornBelters, Dylan is batting .350 with 5 doubles and 14 hits. As an organization, we are so very proud of Dylan (a.k.a. “DK”) and elated that he gets the opportunity to play professional baseball with the Diamondbacks.
