Athens, Georgia -

6-4-3 DP Baseball is incredibly proud to announce that yet another one of its alums has been drafted into the MLB ranks.  The San Francisco Giants selected Zack Bowers in the 24th round of the 2015 MLB Draft.  Zack was part of Harrison High School’s and 6-4-3’s class of 2012 and has been a crucial member of the University of Georgia’s baseball team.  A rising senior at UGA, Zack has been a force at the plate and behind it.  He caught in 51 games with 45 starts in his junior season.  He was a solid player on the field, committing only 4 errors (2 at catcher and 2 at first base). He also tied for the lead in homeruns with 8, hit in an impressive 27 RBIs and 13 doubles, and led the team in walks with 37.  The entire 6-4-3 staff and extended family sends a warm congratulations to Zack for his impressive personal accomplishment!  We are incredibly excited for Zack's continued athletic journey!
