6-4-3 DP Baseball alum, Stephen Moore, selected by Atlanta Braves in 2015 MLB Draft

Atlanta, Georgia -

On behalf of the entire 6-4-3 DP Baseball organization and its wide reaching family, the 6-4-3 staff is thrilled to relay news that Stephen Moore (Class of 2010) and senior RHP at the U.S. Naval Academy was drafted last night (6/9/15) by the Atlanta Braves with the 300th overall pick (10th Round).  Stephen was a student at The Walker School in Marietta, Georgia, and a member of very early 6-4-3 academy teams as the organization was just forming.  Stephen is a gifted student-athlete and a terrific young man.  6-4-3 is incredibly proud of Stephen and this impressive personal accomplishment in his journey as a ballplayer.  6-4-3 has known for years that Stephen possesses tremendous character, a strong makeup, and impressive athletic ability.  Kudos to the hometown Braves for spotting this too and selecting Stephen in the 2015 MLB Draft!

According to MLB.com, Stephen Moore (300th pick) is the earliest player in Draft history to be taken out of Navy.  The 6-4-3 family and staff wishes Stephen only the best in his journey ahead.

Note: In addition to Stephen Moore, the 6-4-3 Class of 2010 included standouts LHP Kent Emanuel (currently with Houston Astros), C Dylan Kelly (currently with Arizona Diamondbacks) and RHP Andrew Smith (drafted by the Oakland A’s).
