On behalf of the entire 6-4-3 DP Baseball organization and its wide reaching family, the 6-4-3 staff is thrilled to relay news that Charlie Madden (Class of 2013), junior catcher at Mercer University, was drafted on Saturday by the Chicago White Sox with the 746th overall pick (25th Round) in the 2016 MLB Draft. Charlie was a prep student-athlete at Dunwoody High School in Dunwoody, Georgia, and a member of early 6-4-3 academy teams. 6-4-3 is incredibly proud of Charlie and this impressive personal accomplishment in his journey as a ballplayer.
According to Mercer University athletics website, Charlie is the 35th player in Mercer's history to be drafted. The 6-4-3 family and staff congratulates Charlie and wishes him the very best in his continued baseball career.
