6-4-3 DP Baseball standout, Matt Rowland, selected by Atlanta Braves in 2016 MLB Draft

Marietta, Georgia - 

On behalf of the entire 6-4-3 DP Baseball organization and its wide reaching family, the 6-4-3 staff is thrilled to relay news that Matt Rowland (Class of 2016), 6-4-3 standout and senior at Pope High School in Marietta, Georgia, was drafted by the Atlanta Braves with the 319th overall pick (11th Round) in the 2016 MLB Draft.  Matt is the second 6-4-3 pitcher in as many years to be drafted by the Braves organization*.  6-4-3 is incredibly proud of Matt and this impressive personal accomplishment in his journey as a ballplayer.  In addition to Matt, Pope High School also saw Josh Lowe drafted this year by the Tampa Bay Rays with the 13th overall pick (1st Round).  The 6-4-3 family and staff congratulates Matt and wishes him the very best in his continued baseball career.

*In 2015, Stephen Moore was drafted (10th round) by the Atlanta Braves out of the U.S. Naval Academy.
