6-4-3 DP Baseball's Class of 2013 shines on Day 3 of 2017 MLB Draft

Marietta, Georgia -

Five members of 6-4-3 DP Baseball's Class of 2013 were selected on June 14 during Day 3 of the 2017 MLB Draft.  On behalf of the entire 6-4-3 organization and its wide reaching family, the 6-4-3 staff is thrilled to relay the following news:

Jonathan Pryor, a senior outfielder at Wake Forest University and Woodward Academy grad, was selected in the 19th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals.

Connor Johnstone, a senior right-handed pitcher at Wake Forest University and Roswell HS grad, was selected in the 21st round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves.

Jackson Lourie, a senior right-handed pitcher at Rhodes College and The Lovett School grad, was selected in the 24th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves.

Charlie Madden, a senior catcher at Mercer University and Dunwoody HS grad, was selected in the 24th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Boston Red Sox.  In 2016, Madden was previously drafted in the 25th round by the Chicago White Sox but opted to return to Mercer for his senior year.

Jim Voyles, a senior right-handed pitcher at Florida State University and Holy Innocents' Episcopal School grad, was selected in the 38th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals.

6-4-3 is incredibly proud of these young men.  6-4-3's Class of 2013 was obviously special and now holds the title of most drafted players within a class (6 total - Charlie Madden was drafted in both 2016 and 2017).  The 6-4-3 staff congratulates Jonathan, Connor, Jackson, Charlie and Jim and wishes them the very best in their professional baseball careers!
