6-4-3 alumni shining inside the NAIA ranks

Marietta, Georgia -

Over the last ten years, 6-4-3 DP Baseball has built a reputation of being a great option for players interested in preparing for the next level.  This includes all college options at the next amateur level of baseball from DI, DII, DIII, NAIA to Junior College.  6-4-3 has graduated over 250 players to various levels of college baseball since the beginning of the academy’s existence.  The 2018 season has been an exciting one for 6-4-3 connections at the NAIA level.

MJ Rookard, who played with 6-4-3 from age 13-18, is currently an outfielder with Middle Georgia State University.  MJ helped his team earn a berth to a regional tournament in Lincoln, California. Earlier this season, MJ received player of the week honors on multiple occasions and was named to the All-Tournament Team of the SSAC tournament which Middle Georgia won.  MJ hit .359 on the season with 75 hits, 12 doubles, 7 HR and 41 RBI.  On defense, MJ played a lockdown centerfield throughout the Knights successful season.

Alex Garland, another 6-4-3 alumnus, has also had a very successful season at the NAIA level. Alex has helped Georgia Gwinnett College (see picture) successfully navigate a regional in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and advance to the NAIA College World Series that begins today in Lewiston, Idaho. Alex is hitting .374 on the season with 18 doubles and 9 HR. He looks to continue his offensive success through the NAIA World Series.

Reinhardt University, another local NAIA school with several former 6-4-3 players in their alumni base, has also found its way to Lewiston, Idaho, for the NAIA World Series, after defeating Campbellsville University (KY) by the score of 5-1 in their regional tournament championship game.

The entire 6-4-3 staff congratulates MJ on his fine season with Middle Georgia and wishes Alex, Georgia Gwinnett, and Reinhardt the best of luck in the NAIA World Series.
