6-4-3 alumni contributing on the diamond for the surging Georgia Bulldogs

6-4-3 DP Baseball currently has six alumni on the roster of the University of Georgia baseball team.  Earlier this week, left-handed pitcher Ryan Webb (pictured) was named Freshman of the Week by the Southeastern Conference while pitching six scoreless innings and picking up the win against the University of South Carolina to complete the Bulldogs recent three game conference sweep. On the season, Ryan has logged 25 innings, racked up 24 strikeouts, and earned an ERA of 2.88 over eight outings and three starts. Left-handed pitcher Kevin Smith has made ten appearances.  Right-handed pitcher Blake Cairnes has made ten appearances out of the bullpen also. Utility player Ivan Johnson has appeared in 15 games and is making a strong impact in his freshman year.  Steven Minter (INF) and James Williams (RHP) continue to develop and will look to contribute in the future for the Diamond Dogs.

The entire staff of 6-4-3 wishes Ryan, Kevin, Blake, Ivan, Steven, James and the entire Bulldogs squad the best of luck during the remainder of their spring season.  Keep up the good work gentlemen!  Go Dawgs!
