6-4-3 DP Baseball's 13U Tigers battle back to win Triple Crown North Atlanta Open I (Bronze Bracket)

Marietta, Georgia - 

This past weekend, the 6-4-3 DP Tigers (13U) squad scuffled in their first two tournament games, giving up twelve earned runs and making eight errors. However, the 13U Tigers bounced back in bracket play by outscoring their opponents by a margin of 39-15 and only giving up only nine earned runs across four games.  Great pitching and timely hitting by the team propelled the Tigers to become the Triple Crown North Atlanta Open Bronze Bracket Champions.   The 13U Tigers' pitchers and catchers did an outstanding job shutting down the opposing teams' running game. The Tigers also did an excellent job on the base paths - swiping 15 stolen bases in 18 attempts.

• Suter was 7-14 at the plate with 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
• Gonzalez was 5-9 at the plate with 5 shutout innings on the mound.
• Robertson was 7-14 at the plate with 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
• Clark pitched 5 innings while giving up only 1 earned run.
• Storey pitched 5 innings while giving up no runs.
