This past weekend 6-4-3 DP Baseball’s 8U Cougars dominated the Triple Crown McCann Summer classic, winning all of their 7 games and bringing home the championship trophy. Every single player was involved in the 7 wins, as the kids swapped positions every inning and every single kid pitched. The team defeated the Hobgood Braves in the championship with a 5-3 victory.
6-4-3 is ecstatic for the 8U Cougars and is looking forward to see them continue to build on what they have accomplished thus far this season. The head coach, Tommy Meek, said that he is proud of them all and the improvement they have displayed this year as a team. Every single weekend they have taken the same approach, swapping kids in and out of positions and allowing every kid to play, and he is glad to see all the hard work is paying off and all the kids learning the game of baseball.
